Hiking through retirement

        Overcast and breezy, It was a perfect summer day for coastal tramping. We decided to walk the rocky coastal route from North Piha to Anawhata Beach in Auckland area. We started 3hours before low tide, walked through partly tramping tracks and partly rock-hopping. It was a beautiful day!         我們從北Piha 沿著石頭海岸走到Anawhata海灣,這是在奧克蘭的西岸,非常漂亮壯觀的一段海岸.巨石和浪花讓人驚嘆! Tramping Route: North Piha Road end car park--Laird Thomson Track--Whites Beach-- Fishermans Rock--Keyhole Rock-- Anawhata Beach north Rocky coast & return. Remarks: Light wind and start 3hrs before low tide. 注意事項:要選微風天氣好的日子去, 低潮前3小時要開始. Walking Route : Kitekite Track--Kitekite Falls--Connect Track--Kauri Grove Track--Marguerite track-- Home Track-- Winstone Track-- Connect Track-- Kitekite Track Grade: Easy -- 4 hrs 35 min (include lunch) Starting point: The car park at the end of Glen Esk Rd, Piha Waitakere. 起點: Piha Glen Esk Rd 路底停車場 Kitekite Falls Kitekite track Kitekite Falls Kitekite Falls Lookout 可以在這裡休息一下觀賞Kitekite 瀑布 Elephant ear.好大的木耳 Crossing the stream.
